Estate Grown, Crushed & Cellared
"Wine is sunlight, held together by water" Galileo Galilei
Mountain grown – Excellence in the fruit
Soil and climate are essential to the intensity of the flavor of our grapes.  La
Serenissima vines grow without fertilizers, in a soil rich in minerals and nutrients from
volcanic deposits and erosive runoff from the surrounding mountain ranges.  Intense
summer sunshine is tempered by cool nights and prevailing ocean breezes.  Our
northern exposure and partial mountain shadowing achieve ripeness without burning.

Crafted using Traditional Italian Methods  – Quality in the wine
Our wine is handcrafted from perfect hand-harvested clusters of fruit.  The grapes are
destemmed and crushed to produce a flavorful must, which is fermented in oak.  After
fermentation, the wine is aged for two or three years in French and American oak
barrels and frequently racked to avoid filtration.  After bottling, the wine is cellared
for at least one additional year or until maturity is reached.
